Complex™ Magnesium vs Regular Magnesium
Frequently Asked Questions
Vitamin B6 enhances the usability and absorption of magnesium into cells.
Complex Magnesium contains the bioactive form of vitamin B6 - pyridoxal-5-phosphate, which, unlike the cheaper pyridoxine hydrochloride, shows much better activity!
Magnesium maintains a very precise balance with calcium in your body, and any imbalance (in any direction) can lead to health problems.
Pay attention not only to adequate magnesium intake but also to its ratio to calcium, which should be 5:1 for children and 2-2.5:1 in favor of calcium for adults. Only this ensures optimal health of bones, teeth, and regeneration.
The common, cheaper form of vitamin B6, pyridoxine hydrochloride, is an inactive form of this vitamin. To be effective in the body, it must be converted to the active form of vitamin B6, pyridoxal-5-phosphate, or P-5-P. This conversion is dependent on an enzyme encoded by the MTHFR gene.
However, a large part of the population suffers from a mutation of this gene, which results in the inactive form not being sufficiently converted to the active form! Therefore, Complex Magnesium contains only the active form of vitamin B6 (P-5-P), so that everyone can be sure that vitamin B6 truly ensures the functions it should!
